Gregory 4th May 2020

Three years ago Liz brought a rather special tulip for her flower of the month entry at Ascot Horticultural Society monthly meeting. I was taken with it and asked her what variety it was, and Liz said it was called Angelique. As our daughter is also called Angela we got some bulbs to plant for the following year, and they were just coming into flower in a prominent position in the front garden. The variety is well known, late flowering, double, white with a pink blush. The flowers last a long time and will create and enduring memory for us in the garden. Greg Cullen
