I first met Liz whilst working on the ramp at LHR in terminal 4 . It was the first of many flight departures we did together. What struck me about her that day was her zest , happy demeanour. her sense of humour, her kindness, her lovely smile for everyone she met but above all how calm and professional she was at all times even under extreme pressure. I moved on to terminal 5, Liz retired & we lost contact. Imagine my surprise when on one occasion while visiting my daughter working for the Thames Valley Hospice in Ascot, she introduced me to one of her lovely volunteers. Unbelievably it was Liz. We had a good catch up about the old days and I attended one of the many BA reunions that she organisedI. I have so many memories of Liz and will treasure them forever. She was truly a lovely person and will greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. God Bless you dear Liz. Steve Salt.
