Dear Liz, you made my Thursday shift at the Thames Hospice shop such fun. I looked forward to seeing you every week, catching up and sharing our news in amongst the jewellery and bags of donations! I only knew you for just over a year, but it felt like I’d known you for much longer. You were so kind to me while my father was ill and dying. I’ll never forget your warmth, support and humour during one of the hardest times of my life. I was so looking forward to spending more time with you outside work and feel bereft that I now won’t have that chance. I shall always remember the times we shared and how glad I am that I knew you, albeit far too briefly. I miss you. Love always ❤️ Sarah xxx
